The third weekend of every August, the Fat Tire Fiesta is a gathering and celebration of the many and varied mountain bike trails that have been developed in the White Mountains. Guided and interpreted tours are included in this three-day event, with rides designed from beginner to advanced levels and guided by local riders who know and love these trails. Cool breezes and fields of wildflowers await you in the scentic White Mountains of Eastern Arizona. Come ride through aspens, pines and fir, along streams and through alpine meadow. We this it is the best grass roots mountain biking festival in the state. Entry fee of $40 includes a shirt and the breakfast and pasta dinner. Music and awards for such competition as the "Flat-Top Hill Climb" and "Huffy Bike Toss" round out this event in the cool summer pines

The Prescott AZ Chain Gang is a recreational bicycle club serving Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and surrounding areas. The Prescott Arizona area is ideal for all kinds of cycling. Just a short drive from Prescott the bicycling possibilities are unlimited including high desert and cool pine forest. Combined with year round cycling weather Prescott, and the surrounding area, could easily be considered one of the best locations in the USA for cycling.

Through advocacy, education, and organized rides, tours, and events, ABC emphasizes the positive effects of the bicycle in providing transportation, recreation, sportsmanship, and good health. Affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists, the Arizona Bicycle Club is effective in advocating the use of bicycles as a non-polluting means of travel, and in protecting the rights of Arizona cyclists to safely share our roads and paths with other users, and to increase the bicycle-friendliness of our state's highways and byways.
